Our Legacy
Brothers Union made its mark in the late 70s and early 80s as a pioneer of Bangladeshi football, alongside notable clubs like Abahani Limited Dhaka and Dhaka Mohammedan. Under the legendary coach Abdul Gafur Baloch, our club became synonymous with talent development, producing skilled players who have gone on to shine in the sport.
Achievements
- League Titles: After earning promotions through the Dhaka Third Division and Second Division Leagues in the early 70s, we secured our first league title in the 2003-04 season, followed by another in 2005.
- Continental Success: We proudly share our victory in the 1981–82 Aga Khan Gold Cup, becoming the first local club to win this prestigious tournament post-independence.
- Premier League Participation: As a founding member of the Bangladesh Premier League in 2007, we have continuously strived for excellence on the pitch.
Recent Developments
After facing relegation in the 2021–22 season, Brothers Union demonstrated resilience by withdrawing from the Championship League and returning to the top flight as champions of the 2022–23 Championship League. Our commitment to growth and success remains unwavering.
